Out of nowhere the rain drops buckets of heavy water upon you. What
do you do? No protection, far away from home…

Wow, we are facing more and more events coming at us, faster than
ever before. Is time speeding up? Is the Earth speeding up? Are we
speeding up to keep up? Alas, I am not sure.

It is as if we are always traveling and never at home. I am at home
and things are not the way I want them or like them to be. Home used
to be my haven from all the storms of life. No matter where I
traveled, I was always glad to get back to my safe, secure, clean
bed. No more is this true.

What I do know is that we are being forced to be flexible and bend
with reality as it changes and rearranges around us. If we do not
become a willow tree, we become more rigid, controlled and weaker. I
also know that when you let go of any amount of ego energy, which is
defensive energy, in your body, there is a period of time in this
natural process where it feels like your whole body is changing and
rearranging.

Since I am familiar with this feeling, I wonder if we are in the

physical and energetic, are also in the middle of adjusting and
rearranging as we adapt in order to stay alive. Evolution is an
ongoing process. It is not just the animals that could go extinct.

If this is true, then one of the best ways to handle all the rapid
changes is to stay grounded in your body so you stay connected to
gravity and Mother Earth. Otherwise, you will be tossed around and
experience massive anxiety. The degree of anxiety will depend on how
much and how often you are securely in your body. No one is grounded
all the time so do not expect perfection.

However, when you are grounded, you go with the flow and accept the
changes that are going on inside of you and outside of you. Grounded
means your body is in the field of gravity and your feet are plugged
into the electrical system of the planet. This allows your nervous
system to function at its best.

What to Do When You Panic and Feel Anxious

My handyman was on the third floor of my home making loud noises as
he worked on my balcony replacing an old stuck window air
conditioner. I was sitting quietly in my living room on the first
floor when he sent my iPhone an image of a huge, long crack under a
badly damaged window. “Oh, no!” went off in my head. Immediately, I
panicked. I thought my fragile, old Philadelphia center city home was
splitting wide open with the force being used to pull the heavy
hummer out.

I ran up the stairs to see what was going on. When I arrived, he said
it was the neighbor’s house and that I should let them know because it
was serious. Wow, how quickly panic can come and go. Since losing my
stellar health, the ongoing pandemic and multiple assaults on my freedoms,
I notice stress is harder to handle.

Later in the day when I was enjoying a swim, I remembered a scene in
an old Ellen Burstyn movie called Resurrection. It was a true story
of a healer. In the unforgettable scene, a little girl’s nose starts
to bleed at a family reunion. The girl had hemophilia so everyone
around her at the picnic began to panic because they were afraid she
