==========================
Love. Looking at this four letter word right now could be
good for your health.
We know for sure that saying loving words out loud is good
for your health. Masaru Emoto’s experiments with water
crystals and rice reveal how much the energy of words
affects matter.
For example, he conducted an experiment with the help of
Japanese children. He had the children say loving words to
a jar of rice in one room. And in another room he had them
say nasty words to the rice in the jar.
The rice that had been exposed to loving words stayed fresh
and alive for a long time. The rice that had been exposed
to nasty words quickly became black and rancid.
Just imagine how much you could benefit from saying more
loving words. Yep, visualize how good it will feel when you
shift out of saying nasty things to yourself into saying
loving things to yourself.
Imagine what will happen to your relationships with others
when you say loving things to people instead of being
suspicious, judgmental and arrogant.
Valentine’s Day is a reminder to be more loving.
Love, love, love.
Listen to how many loving thoughts and words you say to
yourself from now until Valentine’s Day. Notice the results.
No matter what the results are, you can definitely learn how
to stand up to your Inner Critic and tell this part of you
to get in the back seat. After all, your brain is only a
tiny part of your wholistic, authentic, strong, self.
Holistic Health Professionals: Does your Inner Critic
interfere with your healing work with your clients? Probably.
Become more aware of your thoughts, words and energy. Learn
to de-fang your Inner Critic so you can show your clients
how to say more loving words to themselves and accept more
loving energy from others.
Parents on the Personal Growth Path: Your children are
watching every move you make. Anytime they hear you
criticize yourself, they are learning to criticize
themselves. Stop your Inner Critic from teaching your
children how to say nasty things to themselves. Instead,
show them how to say loving words to themselves and others.
=============================
De-Fang Your Inner Critic: Your Inner Critic is
intent on controlling you. Writing down your nasty
thoughts is a great way to begin taming your Inner Critic.
Listen to my dear friend Emily Hanlon, a best-selling
author and I discuss how you can stop your Inner Critic
from turning you and your life rancid. Order the audio,
“De-fang Your Inner Critic to Find Your Voice.” $29.97.

Relax, Signs of Anxiety Can Lead to Natural Anxiety Cure

The New York Times is running a series of articles on
anxiety symptoms, signs of anxiety and anxiety attacks.
One in five Americans admit they suffer from anxiety and
the New York Times is beginning to understand that
“anxiety is not a disorder, it is part of the human
condition.”
Last Sunday in the Times, Alissa Nutting, author of the
short story collection, “Unclean Jobs for Women and Girls‚”
and creative writer teacher at John Carroll University
wrote an article called, “An Appointment with Dread.”
She bravely shares her inner, anxious world. Picture this.
On the outside, Alissa looks fine. She is sitting in the MD
office waiting to be seen. The average person would not
know Alissa is feeling anxious because she looks just like
everyone else, and besides, she is pretty.
However, on the inside, Alissa is freaking out.
Alissa describes how she feels as she walks down the hall to
the medical examining office. “Although this feels like an
emergency, when we pass a fire extinguisher, I do not break
the glass. I would like to, though. I would like to activate
an alarm and run.”
How often do you feel like something is an emergency and
you know it is not a real emergency? This feeling of urgency
and anxiety IS part of the human condition.
For example, are you the kind of person who has to jump up
and do something as soon as you think about it? Your sense
of emergency forces you to complete a task as soon as you
think about the need to complete a task.
You have trouble relaxing, resting, and being in the moment.
You do not trust that you will complete all tasks as needed,
when needed.
This urgency that something is an emergency when it is not,
is very important to tease out, address and unlearn.
As a child, you learned to be anxious about all sorts of
things. As you grew up, many of your anxious behaviors
became very unhelpful and ineffective.
As an adult, you have trouble relaxing, resting and being in
the moment. Anxiety is the reason you do not have more
vibrant moments of being alive, happy and full of yourself.
Begin to recognize your sense of urgency, which is your
anxiety. Then address the real issue.
Do not follow in Alissa’s footsteps of getting more medication
from physicians to mask the psychological problems that you
have. Instead, address your real mental health, emotional
health and sexual health problems.
You need to unlearn all the behaviors that push you to do
something right now, in a certain and just so. Your pushy
behaviors are anxious behaviors. They are keeping you from
relaxing, being healthy, making love and enjoying life.
Holistic Health Professionals: Are you in the process of
unlearning your anxious behaviors from the past? If not,
your anxiety is coloring your world and blocking your personal
growth. Your anxious behaviors are also stopping you from
being more successful with your clients who have anxiety
symptoms, signs of anxiety and anxiety attacks.
Parents on the Personal Growth Path: You too, need to unlearn
your anxious behaviors from the past. Then you will model
relaxation, effectiveness and self confident for your children.
Always remember, whatever you do is what your children learn.
Help them learn relaxation and self-confidence instead of
pushy, urgency behaviors that gives them signs of anxiety.

Is it Guilt or Anxiety? Bypass Your Symptom and Look at Process for Personal Growth
January 28, 2012 by Doris Jeanette.
The Vibrant Moment - Remember: Notice your natural process.
Tools from the Center for New Psychology

==========================
I received a question this week about childhood guilt in my
“Ask Dr. Jeanette” box. You can also use this free
psychological resource at any time to ask me a question that
you need answered. Ask your question at:
http://www.drjeanette.com/askdrjeanette.html
This particular gentleman from the United Kingdom thought he
was experiencing guilt about something he had done in his past.
He continued to relive a certain childhood event over and over
in his head, making himself feel bad and wrong about what he
had done.
He thought guilt was his problem. Yet after reading his
question and sensing his energy, I was not sure that guilt was
his problem.
Here is my answer:
“There is no need to suffer and punish yourself anymore about
your childhood behavior. As a matter of fact, you may or may
not be suffering from guilt. I would have to do a private
consultation with you to tell for sure.”
“However, from what I pick up, guilt is not your real problem.
In a situation like yours, it is not so much what happened, as
what you are doing with what happened.”
“Look at what you are doing with what happened.”
“Your current behavior has to do with your psychological state
which does not appear to be guilt. Your current energy state
is obsessive. You are obsessing about your behavior. Your
obsessive behavior could be dramatically improved with more
knowledge, information, awareness and the appropriate mind-body
skills.”
Apply this man’s situation to your personal growth.
You may think that guilt is your problem when it is not.
Look at your process to learn more about your bottom-line,
heart-line issue.
Your problem could also be how you are using what you have done
in the past. Look at your process to learn more about the
source cause of a problem. How are you using certain events
in your life. Are you obsessing about them?
Obsessive behaviors in any form are the result of high anxiety.
Anxiety is what makes people repeat thoughts, events and
behaviors.
It does not matter what you obsess about, you need to reduce
your anxiety so you can relax and enjoy your life.
Professionals: Are you paying attention to process instead of
symptoms, words, thoughts and behaviors? If not, learn more
about process and how it can help you help your clients.
Parents: Do you take your own behavior and your daughter’s
behavior at face value? Or do you look at the process of what
was happening before the defensive reaction occurred? Look at
what happened before the unhelpful behavior occurred to find
long-lasting solutions to real problems.
=============================
ANXIETY REDUCTION SOLUTIONS: Take the online course,
“Overcome Anxiety Naturally” to learn the essential
body skills you need to relax and enjoy life. 10 written
lessons and 5 hours of audio teach you the mind-body skills
you need to use for the rest of your life to keep your
anxiety from interfering with pleasure. $149.97.

Reason New Year’s Resolutions Fail: Unconscious Motivation Stronger than Self Motivation
January 22, 2012 by Doris Jeanette.
For those of you seeking the reason you were not successful
last year fulfilling your New Year’s Resolutions and heart’s
desires, look at your motivation.
Motivation is the energy that moves you forward and makes
sure you reach your goals. All along the way you will bump
into blocks such as fear and anxiety. These two monsters
are a given.
Therefore, you need to learn how to overcome anxiety and
face your real fears. These two skills must be in your
self-improvement toolbox for any personal growth and
professional success.
However, you also need to pay attention to your motivations.
You may have motivations that you are not aware of that are
seriously effecting your results.
Take a look at what really motivates you.
Are you motivated by:
• Money?
• Love?
• Relationships?
• Avoiding Pain?
• Candy?
• Success?
• Peace of Mind?
• God?
• Failure?
• Avoiding Conflict?
• Freedom?
All of these “goodies” can be used to get your human
energy moving in a stronger fashion. Some of these
“goodies” will move you toward unfulfilling professional
goals and some will move you toward unfulfilling personal
growth goals.
I am not kidding.
Your motivation for avoiding pain could be stronger than
your motivation for success. Your motivation for money
could be stronger than your motivation for love. Your
motivation for candy could be stronger than your motivation
for peace of mind.
When you look at the results you are getting, know that your
motivation is definitely taking you to where you want to
go…consciously or unconsciously.
You do not have to let your unconscious take you to a goal
you do not desire. All you need to do is become aware of
what really motivates you.
Expand your awareness and make better choices to get the
results that your heart desires instead of the results that
your ego desires.
Professionals: Are you stuck in the same ole routine?
Overworked? Not enjoying your clients? Regroup and get more
into your heart’s motivations and less into your ego’s
motivations. Get the holistic psychology training, energy
awareness and emotional support you need to reach your
highest professional goals.
Parents: Do you find that you are more concerned about what
others think than you are about your child and what he or she
needs? Don’t let outside factors make you control, inhibit and
hurt your emotional, sensitive, loving child. Let love for
your child motivate you to be strong enough to stand up for his
or her needs in this anxious, crazy, out-of-balance world.
================================
LEARN MORE ABOUT YOUR UNCONSCIOUS MOTIVATIONS: You need
help in increasing your awareness. Each time I have a private
session with my mentor, my awareness increases. Get the direct
experience you need to become more aware of how your ego wins
the race when you do not want it to. Mentoring and coaching
increases your awareness so your heart can lead the way.
For private coaching sessions email me about your interest.
I will be in Glenwood Springs, CO for private in-person human
energy sessions until Feb. 15. Phone sessions and Skype
sessions are available at any time.

Falling in Love, Relationship Advice: Use Body Language to Notice Fear, Anxiety

A reporter sent me a series of questions to answer on the
physical effects of falling in and out of love for an article
she was writing.
One of her questions was, “What exactly causes the
“butterflies” and “sweaty palms” when people fall in love?
Is that real or not?”
My answer:
“Yes, these physical experiences are real. Your body reacts
to everything that is going on inside and outside of you all
the time. Your body is the best barometer you have for knowing
what is really happening in physical reality.”
For example, “butterflies” and “sweaty palms” occur when you
are anxious. These physical effects often happen to you before
you give a speech, when you are in a new situation, when you are
in an airplane and so on.
What you need to know is the feeling of love is not causing your
physical reactions of anxiety. It is most important to sort out
the difference between love and the fear of love.
It is your fear of love that causes you to have butterflies in
your stomach.
Your fears of intimacy cause you to experience sweaty palms.
You may feel insecure about the possibility of falling in love.
Perhaps you are afraid of being vulnerable and open.
You are thinking thoughts like this:
“Does she like me as much as I like her?”
“Oh no! I will get hurt if I fall in love.”
“I can’t let him know how much I like him. He will run away.”
When you are in love your body reacts very differently.
You are feeling love and not thinking anything. Your body is
relaxed, open and soft when it is in the energy of love.
Real love makes you feel secure, accepted and calm. You are glad
to have a person to love and be loved by.
If you are afraid of love, now is the time to learn how to face
your fears and overcome your anxiety. It will be good for your
mental health, emotional health and physical health to learn how
to spend more time in the physical state of love.
PROFESSIONALS: If you are not using body awareness and its
physical truths in your work, you are not using the most powerful
tools you have to help your clients transform their fear and anxiety
energy into love energy. Engage in continuing education to learn
how to include the body and its truths in your psychological work.
PARENTS: Make sure you get back in your own body so you can model
healthy loving behaviors for your children instead of anxious,
fearful behaviors. Help your children keep their body self-esteem
as they grow up by allowing them to play freely with their whole
body and spend lots of time outdoors every day.
====================================
GET STARTED, TAKE ACTION: The best place to start facing
your fears and overcoming your anxiety is with the “Overcome
Anxiety Naturally” online course. It teaches you the physical
awareness you need to tell the difference between your body in
love, in fear and in anxiety. It also gives you the body exercises

guaranteed. 10 written lessons and five hours of audio, $149.97.

New Year’s Resolutions: Take a Self Improvement Action for Success

==========================
You have a fresh, new year to create the life you want.
You do not need to punish yourself if you did not reach your
New Year’s Resolutions or goals last year. You can start
anew in 2012 with self-improvement and personal growth.
Just think, you could:
Exercise and lose weight.
Relax and lower your blood pressure.
Dance and enjoy moving your body.
Lose weight and be more sensual.
Make love more often.
Make more money.
Say goodbye to any unhealthy behaviors.
You are the boss. You get to choose and create your goals.
And you are the one who will determine the results you get.
Take a look at your fresh, new year and make a list. Be
bold, realistic and smart. Put in your intention to use
your intuition, natural strengths and creativity to make
2012 the best year ever in your personal and professional
life.
If you did not reach your New Year’s Resolutions last year,
you probably did not learn something new and take action on
what you learned. In other words, you did not do what you
had to do to reach your goals.
Doing nothing is a sure way not to be successful in
self-improvement and personal growth.
Instead of doing nothing, you could take the steps that
lead to your success.
There are always new skills you need to know in order to
reach your goals. Self-improvement is an ongoing process
of learning new relationships skills, coping skills and
self-loving skills.
Therefore, continuing education is the best investment you
can make in yourself and your future. When you take courses
and listen to audio recordings, you learn new skills.
When you use your new skills you move forward.
In addition, if you choose good teachers, mentors and holistic
psychologists, you will definitely reach your goals. There
is an energy magic that happens when you hook up with an
effective mentor. With confidence, you follow through with
the steps that lead you to your New Year’s Resolutions.
Then you will have a great, big smile on your face at the end
of 2012 because you have successfully reached your personal
growth goals and fulfilled your New Year’s Resolutions.
For Professionals: Make sure your continuing education adds
new holistic psychology skills to your tool box that improves
your performance with clients. Seek out mentors and teachers
who help you develop your own intuition, natural talents and
show you faster, more effective ways to help clients. In the
future, psychology will not rely on talk therapy and
psychotherapy.
For Parents: Engage your children in personal growth and
self-improvement. Let them be creative and show you how to
be more successful. The younger they are, the less anxious
and controlled they are likely to be. Children are never too
young to engage in behaviors that keep them–and you–open,
free and joyful.
================================
CONTINUING EDUCATION: Self-help audio, special
reports and online courses have been created using
holistic psychology principles, mind-body information
and relationship advice to teach you the new skills you
need to know in order to reach your New Year’s Resolutions.
Learn to relax, be a better lover, overcome anxiety and
open your heart to more love.

products created for you.

This time of year is a great time to take a look at the whole
year and see how much you have accomplished in both your
personal and professional life.
Enjoy and celebrate your successes. If you do not have a lot
of successes to admire and enjoy, you probably did not take
action. Doing nothing, means getting nothing.
Therefore, it is important to acknowledge the areas you were
not successful in. The self-improvement goals that you did
not take action on could be the first thing you put on your
New Year’s Resolutions list for 2012.
As you enjoy your holidays look at your life and make some
positive decisions. Decide to accomplish something wonderful
this year. You can reach a goal that you need, want or desire.

==========================
Two weeks before Thanksgiving, an older client of mine was
upset because her son and son-in-law had a long history of
fighting and ruining every holiday dinner.
The situation had reached a standoff so that the two of them
would not attend the same event. My client did not know what
to do.
For years, I had been supporting her in maintaining healthy,
loving relationships with both of them. During our session,
she had the brilliant idea of bringing in her son for a
consultation to see if we could get him to feel more
emotionally secure and self confident.
Sure enough, helping her son feel more love was enough to
bring about dramatic changes in the whole family dynamic
during Thanksgiving Day. Unbelievably, everything went
well, no blow-ups, verbal attacks or dramatic departures.
The reason this holiday ended so well was because the son
was relaxed enough to defuse the unpleasant emotional energy
dynamics that were being set off between him and his sister’s
husband. His increased self-confidence stopped both of them
from being triggered into defensive reactions.
You can also get ready psychologically for your holiday
family encounters.
Don’t walk into family situations without getting ready. You
can take appropriate actions now to prepare yourself for
being around the people who gave you your tender buttons!
You can become more emotionally secure and self-confident.
Self-love will help you relax and enjoy yourself during the
holiday family gatherings.

Holiday Advice: Relax, Enjoy Giving Meaningful, Creative Gifts

Having to buy Christmas gifts, Hannukah gifts and Kwanzaa
gifts could add a lot of extra anxiety to your life. This
would be if your gift giving is a “should.”
You know the phrases in your head…. You” should” do this
and “should” do that. “Shoulds” and “should nots” make you
very nervous and put tons of pressure on you to do something
fast, quick and right now!
Obligatory gift giving is based on guilt, judgment and
resentment. These psychological qualities create energy that
is not physically or mentally healthy for you. Therefore,
you do not want to stay stuck in the energy of guilt,
judgment or resentment for very long.
Gifts do not have to be “shoulds” and they do not have to
cost a lot of money. For example, if you make your gift, it
does not have to cost you anything. If you give a meaningful
gift it does not have to cost you more than you need to spend.
If you are being controlled by “shoulds”, shift gears.
Move out of your brain down into your heart. Feel the love
you have for the person you want to give something to. Then
let your creativity come into play.
Be creative instead of anxious.
Let new ideas come into your awareness.
Relax and allow new information to come your way.
Make a fun Christmas gift for a loved one.
Give a gift that is meaningful and helpful.
Parents: Set a good model for your children. Enjoy the gift
giving that you do and do not spend more money than you can
afford to spend on anyone, even your children.
Psychologists and Other Healers: Help yourself and your
clients access the real feelings of love for this season.
Teach your clients how to stop letting “shoulds” and “should
nots” control them. Teach them how to transform their
anxious, nervous and scrooge-like energy into love.

Self Improvement, Parenting Tip: Find Your Natural Walk

Yesterday while I was looking out the window of my second
floor Center City home in Philadelphia, I saw a young adult
male walking down the street in his normal quick stride.
Unfortunately, he was holding the hand of a little boy.
The little boy was over two feet behind his father who was
looking straight ahead. The adult male was not alternating
or adjusting his speed for his companion. As a result, the
little boy was being dragged down the street.
When I see little children being pulled or pushed like this
I wonder, could this be the beginning of their anxiety?
What is that little boy learning as he is being dragged down
the street?
Take a moment to notice your walk, your pace, your speed
through life.
Did you learn to walk faster than your normal pace?
Did you learn to speed up to keep up?
Or did you learn to honor your own pace, your own speed,
your own way of being in the world?
Parents: Pay attention to what you are teaching your child
as you walk down the street. Notice how often you push or
pull your daughter to fit your pace instead of allowing her
to have her own pace.
Psychologists and Other Healers: Notice what you are teaching
your clients. Do you rush from one person to the other? Do
you move too fast, too quick? Do you adjust or alter your
pace to fit your client? Are you listening to your inner
child AND your client’s inner child?
================================
DISCOVER, RECLAIM YOUR NATURAL WALK: The “Opening the
Heart” 3 hour audio series was created to help you find
and follow your own natural, inner authentic pace. Learn
how to tell the difference between your natural energy and
the learned, controlling energy that makes you anxious and
sick. 3 hours of audio for $97.00 or eBook for $19.97.
Read more and order:
http://www.drjeanette.com/emotionalhealthaudio.html
Order the audio for $97.00 by Monday, December 5 and get
the eBook, worth $19.97 as a bonus. Some like to read and
some like to listen. Doing both is most effective.
===============================
ALREADY OWN THE “OPENING THE HEART” AUDIO? The online
course, “Overcome Anxiety Naturally” teaches you step by
step how to pay attention to your natural physical self
and authentic emotions. Learn how to stop the pulling and
pushing behavior you learned as a child. 5 hours of audio
PLUS 10 written lessons give you the tools you need to be
successful, $149.97.
Read more and order:
http://www.drjeanette.com/anxietyonlinecourse.html
Order the anxiety online course by Monday, December 5 and
get a bonus coaching session worth $50.00 with me either
by phone or email. We can help you overcome your
resistance, fear and anxiety that is blocking your
success.
===========================
LEARN HOW TO HELP OTHERS: Join the Holistic Psychology
Mentoring Program. Classes and discussions about the
powerful energy relationship with your natural emotional
self, which is your inner child, take place online and
on the phone. For as little as $69.00 a month, stay home
